Cultural alignment and mindfulness are crucial components of effective Counselling, particularly when working with First Nations people. The Indigenous population in Australia has a unique set of cultural beliefs, values, and practices that have been shaped by their historical experiences and interactions with the land. As such, it is vital to be culturally sensitive and respectful when engaging with these communities.

This course, brought to you Rodney Tuifa'asisina Leleisiuao, is designed to provide you with the knowledge, insight and skills required to engage with First Nations people in a culturally sensitive manner. The course is focused on the importance of mindfulness, cultural competence, and cultural humility in Counselling First Nations clients.

This course is made up of two components: 
      - A video component (1hr03mins)
      - An assessment component (multiple choice questions)

Upon the completion of this training, you will receive a Digital Certificate of Completion
