Maria Sarina is passionate about addressing mental health issues in the community. She has a strong focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the primary therapeutic approach in her practice.
With an impressive track record of over 14,000 hours of experience, Maria Sarina is not only a seasoned professional but also a qualified Supervisor, ensuring the highest standards of care and mentorship for her team.
Maria is deeply committed to helping others achieve their full potential. Six years ago, she took the initiative to establish the Friendship Centre, a valuable resource for the local community, where she offers a FREE service to those in need. Through her efforts, the Friendship Centre has grown to have a team of over 60 volunteer counsellors who provide much-needed support to those seeking help. Among their achievements, the Friendship Centre has become one of the largest providers of University Placements for Students in Australia. Maria's vision is to maintain the service as a free resource and to expand her team to 100 members by the end of 2022, further enhancing their ability to support the community.
