Dr Iona Abrahamson (PhD) is an experienced and well-qualified psychotherapist. Her area of expertise is in relationships, loss and grief, parenting, infidelity, domestic violence, self-esteem and assertiveness.

Living on the Gold Coast in Queensland, she facilitates group workshops, as well as providing individual, couple and family counselling sessions.

Iona is an international speaker having presented in many places such as Oxford University in Britain and Maynooth University in Ireland. Iona has completed her doctoral research on infidelity counselling and is a clinical practitioner and trainer with expertise in infidelity counselling.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Counselling with Honours.

Iona offers a caring and compassionate approach to her clients with a focus on helping them towards healing.
